Difference between ETA, E-Visa, and VISA
ETA is not a real visa, but rather an authorization. For example, think of the electronic visitor visa, which allows you to enter New Zealand and stay for a maximum of 3 months. It is easy to apply for, and you can simply visit the official website to submit your application. You will receive your ETA visa within 72 hours. E-Visa or electronic visa is a full-fledged visa, and in this case, you can also apply for it directly on the New Zealand government website. It has similar terms and conditions to ETA but also some differences:
- The electronic visa is issued by the country and may require a financial investment.
- It takes longer than 72 hours to process.
- It cannot be modified after submission.
The visa is a system that requires physical approval and a stamp or sticker on the international identity document/travel document when applying to enter a foreign country. It is essential that you physically appear at the administrative office of the entire system.
